Many consider this over the conventional crop as it allows creative freedom and provides the ability to remove unwanted portions effectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">While it is an extremely useful tool, unfortunately, most tools and software don\u2019t feature one, including Canva. Wait for it to load completely to get started.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-greenshift-blocks-image gspb_image gspb_image-id-gsbp-dfb0ee7a-e8ab\" id=\"gspb_image-id-gsbp-dfb0ee7a-e8ab\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.pttrns.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/Project-loaded.png\" data-src=\"\" alt=\"Project loaded\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1025\" height=\"626\"\/><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"2\">\n<li>If you\u2019re working on a new design, start by uploading the image by clicking on the <strong>Uploads<\/strong> on the left and then the <strong>Upload files <\/strong>button. By doing so, you can find multiple frames. For this purpose, we have searched for multiple alternatives like online tools and image editing tools, but only a few offered freehand crop tools.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Unfortunately, most of these required learning or need a subscription to use, so we relied on our all-time favorite Paint on Windows, and here are steps to freehand crop on it:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Start by pressing the <strong>Windows key <\/strong>and searching for it. <strong>Paint<\/strong> in the <strong>Search box<\/strong> and click on the first result to open it.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-greenshift-blocks-image gspb_image gspb_image-id-gsbp-4c508914-9bb1\" id=\"gspb_image-id-gsbp-4c508914-9bb1\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.pttrns.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/Paint-application.png\" data-src=\"\" alt=\"Paint application\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"600\" height=\"494\"\/><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"2\">\n<li>After Paint is loaded, click on the <strong>File<\/strong> option above the toolbar. Now, from the options listed, click on <strong>Open<\/strong> and select the image you want to work on.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-greenshift-blocks-image gspb_image gspb_image-id-gsbp-cb2a8fe5-444c\" id=\"gspb_image-id-gsbp-cb2a8fe5-444c\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.pttrns.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/Open-the-image.png\" data-src=\"\" alt=\"Open the image\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"783\" height=\"352\"\/><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"3\">\n<li>Once the image is added to Paint, navigate to the toolbar and click on <strong>Select<\/strong>.
